The program that is being administered by the United States Department of Agriculture and the Indiana Department of Education, is an intiativeto help support children and adults living under the poverty line in the US. This will help through a new policy, to provide adults and children free and reduced price meals at no separate charge.

The program will be running under a criteria to accommodate for the huge demand and need. For example, children who are living within households who currently receive TANF, Food Stamps or are part of the Heat Start program will be eligible for free meals under the Child and Adult Care Food Program.
